Markku, Jayvee, Rico and I went on a whole day photography and food trip to Tagaytay last Saturday.
Photography tips were shared in between cheesy love stories.

At the end of the day, I brought home Markku’s Sigma 18-125mm lens to add to my stable. It wasn’t cheap but I think it was worth it. I don’t have huge budgets for camera lenses like he does so I’ll settle with hand-me-downs.
We aptly call it the “The Band of Bloggers” and we hope to do one every month. Next stop, Enchanted Kingdom.

ei! can someone who doesn’t have a SLR (yet) can join you guys?
Well, if I can (didn’t have one either)…
Jayvs, Abe, Markku, tnx for the great time!
Next time, I’ll bring Matus for support; now you’ll instantly know how your pictures will turn out on the big screen!
[...] Last Saturday, Abe, Jayvee, Markku and I went to Tagaytay just to have fun, exchange stories, and, except for me, take pictures of everyone and everything! [...]
Ngee, important qualification ata yung “[] girlfriend left him / her because of hobby obsession”
I have all the qualifications of geekiness except for that one
Kelan sunod? Sama kami ni Marc! I think I might be able to borrow some of my dad’s “old ones” para mukhang medyo “pro” ang camera ko ehehe.
By the way, do you guys know of a place na magandang pang pre-nuptial shoot pero at the same time pwede ang aso?
Congrats sa new hand-me-down lens!
Pwede sumali pagbalik ko?
Kung pwede lang naman a.
*cough* Canon lovers…
@ sylver
Niyaya kita di ba? Kaw naman tong ayaw sumama eh.
@ Rico
Enchanted Kingdom daw sunod ah! So we could learn how to shoot fast moving objects.
@ Gail
Ei, there’s a church sa Tagaytay right? Puede ata dun. How about Ateneo campus sa Katipunan, may chapel din dun and maganda yung area. Time for me to go visit my alma mater din. How about subjects namin kayo for a photo-op?
@ Rain
Sure! Mas marami mentors.
@ Marco
Dude, sama ka rin.
Naks! Mukhang slo-mo photography lessons to ah!
Pero I’ll have to learn by watching first; I don’t have a camera yet.
But I dream of the day when there’s at least ten of us, walking in a line, all with practically the same camera (350D?), shooting anything in sight.
[...] In typical fashion, I’m late. Rico [that’s a PR6 link, bro] just wrote about our trip to Tagaytay last Saturday and both Abe and Jayvee posted on the topic earlier today. Since all four of us were male bloggers, we decided to call ourselves “Band of Bloggers.” Discussion ranged from blogging to other forms of geek talk, and even mushy girly stuff. Hahaha. This will likely be a monthly thing considering the trend in recent months, but beware — there is a tradition that we plan to strictly observe. Clue: it involves your monthly adsense/problogging check. [...]
yung pinaka-main pic dyan yung kuha ni daddy. yung ginamit nyang camera for that micro shot is exactly like yours (that’s his one and only canon, my dad’s a nikon guy). just ignore the other pics, most of them were taken with just my phone’s camera kaya panget quality.
i wonder whose love story was the cheesiest?! he he.
wow, i’m so envious…i miss my lakwatsa days. I think it’s a good idea for blogggers to meet. it kind of seals the friendship that started online.
Yuga – definitely! I’ll drop you a line next time I’m in the Phils…
Pwede bang sumama sa susunod? Para ma-ambunan man lang ng konting PR.
Good places to shoot na malapit lang sa Manila is the Rizal-Laguna Loop, Caliraya Lake (sunrise there is awesome) or Corregidor (best to stay overnight…)
