Picking an all-around printer can be a daunting task as most of the time we rely on price and product features when making decisions. This is what Brother is banking for most cost-conscious customers when they released the Brother MFC L2740DW.
The one we unboxed and used for a couple of months (Brother MFC L2740DW) and we could not ask for anything more in an all-in-one printer.
The MFC-L2740DW monochrome laser multifunction printer has a lot of advanced features and is suitable for use as a shared printer or for heavy-duty personal use. We set it up at the office of around 20 people and have not experienced nay problem in the several months we’ve had it.
The MFC can do almost anything for office use — prints, scans, faxes, copies. Automatic document feeder. It also supports duplex (two-sided) printing and scanning. For connectivity, it has an ethernet or LAN port, WiFi, and WiFi Direct function.
At maximum speed, the printer can do as much as 32 pages per minute (ppm) with a total of 2,600 pages per cartridge toner (1,200 pages for standard quality prints). Output quality is at the low end of the range for monochrome laser MFPs but it’s still decent and performs well especially if you have low to moderate printing needs.
Brother MFC L2740DW is available locally for a suggested retail price of Php18,950.
