Remember the SEO contest I blog over two weeks ago? Well, it has already started and it’s now up to $4,000 $7,000! That’s over Php200,000 Php350,000 already (plus the iPod).
The magic word now here is :
v7ndotcom elursrebmem
What I originally have in mind was to join the contest, seek help from all bloggers out there and if I win, donate all the proceeds to charity (Bahay na Walang Hagdan, Haribon Foundation, Save the Children, etc.).
What’s so bold about this is that I don’t know much about SEO. I’m just trying to turn some PR thing into something more useful and charitable.
What can you do to help? If you have a blog or a website, please link to this entry with the words “v7ndotcom elursrebmem“. The link could be placed somewhere in your blog (preferably at the homepage, somewhere at the bottom would do). Then, a blog entry about the mechanics of this contest and promoting the same to your readers. See contest rules.
So how do you win? A Google search for v7ndotcom elursrebmem should show your site on the top of the list (elursrebmem is just membersrule spelled backwards).

Well looks like I am not going to with the V7ndotcom Elursrebmem SEO contest, and its a shame these charity website are not as well I wish they would have more than a none charity website.

you can go ahead with your linking, but also be prepared if you’ll be “penalized” by google….
I can’t afford to give away my own ad revs to charity eh. Used to do it once a year before but not last year. At least the money (if it wins) goes to very good use.
If you guys think it’s a bad idea, we can always drop it. :) We’ll do something else that does not involve linking in.
