Activating your Smart MMS & GPRS

Here’s a quick tip on how to activate your phone’s Smart MMS and Smart GPRS settings if you’re with the Smart network:

Download MMS and GPRS settings from Smart:

To download SMART MMS phone settings:

Key in SET MMS and send to 211.

To download SMART GPRS phone settings:

Key in SET GPRS and send to 211.

Example: If you have a Nokia 6230, that’s “SET MMS N6230”

To activate SMART GPRS:

Key in “GPRS ON” and send to “333″

To activate SMART MMS:

Key in “MMS ON” and send to “333″

Note :
The configuration settings will be sent to your phone. You will need to select “Save All” to save the settings in the phone. Some MMS and GPRS handsets already have pre-loaded phone settings.

Activation of MMS and GPRS will require a confirmation message from SMART. A message will be sent to the sub once the feature has been activated

SMART Padala Domestic allows subscribers to send/receive money to/from anywhere in the Philippines with only 1% sending / encashment fee .

Initial Requirements: To receive money via SMART Padala Domestic, you must first have a SMART Money Number.

How to get a SMART Money Number

For SMART Super SIM 3 users:

1) In your SMART celfone, go to SMART Menu and click SMART Money

2) Choose Activate Card

3) Enter your desired 6-digit w-PIN twice.

4) You will receive a confirmation message with your activated 16-digit SMART Money Number.

For SMART Super SIM 1 & 2 users:

1) Text MONEY to 343

2) You will receive a confirmation message with your 16-digit SMART Money Number.

3) In your SMART Celfone, go to SMART Menu, select Activate card and enter your SMART Money Number.

4) Name the card & confirm activation

5) Enter default PIN (123456) then enter your new PIN.

For Senders (How to send money) :

1) Be sure that you know the SMART Money number of your beneficiary

2) Go to any SMART Padala Center and give the cash and 16-digit SMART Money number (of your beneficiary) to the cashier. Present one valid ID.

3) Wait for the confirmation message that the transaction has been completed. Pay sending fee for as low as 1% of the amount sent.

For Beneficiaries(How to encash) :

1) Wait for the confirmation message that you’ve received the money to your SMART Money number.

2) To encash, go to any SMART Padala Center. Pay the encashment fee, for as low as 1% of the amount received.
