Relevance: 78%      Posted on: July 9, 2008

The Blue H1 UMPC is probably the only ultraportable laptop specifically marketed to the Philippines but never got much airtime (except for that Engadget mention earlier). The Blue H1 is a 7″ inch (800×480 screen) laptop with 1.0GHz Via C7-M processor, 1GB RAM, 40 GB HDD, WiFi, LAN, 0.3 megapixel webcam, 2 USB 2.0 ports and 4-in-1 card reader. We're putting it side by side with and Asus Eee PC 701 and an HP B1200. Review will follow.

12 years of intenet in the Philippines and a lot has changed since then... Might first encounter with the internet was in my freshmen years in Ateneo. Students are issued their own university emails in the form of We use pine to access our emails and we were given computer cards worth around 50 hours of internet use in the Faura computer labs. I think it was monday evening when Marc, Markku and I had a short dinner and drinking spree somewhere in the Mandaluyong area (was it the PVL Food Center beside the Good Shepherd Catholic School?). As usual topics abound -- from your daily AdSense dose, corporate BS, future blogging projects/plans, to world domination. We touch something on "online content", not much on who owns it but for what it's worth. Yes, again, it has got something to do with PBB and whole bruhaha of SEO campaigns and experiments. "Take for example a blog with lots of original pictures and a…

When a user clicks on the eBay ad, they are led directly to the eBay site (either to the listing, the category, or the search results page). {see AdContext Homepage} The ads…

Photo Project: Kids

Just got back from Boracay, via Kalibo, Aklan hoping we could get a glance of what their Ati-Atihan Festival would look like. But alas, the heavy traffic, crowded streets and heavy baggage prevented us from doing so. Here's some quick picks from the Bora gallery I'm currently uploading. Taken using my Canon Rebel XT with the Canon 50mm F/1.8 & 10-22mm F/3.5 It helps if you understand or speak the local dialect so the kids won't be too shy to get their pics taken. At first, I just take shots before even asking them but it turns out you're gonna…
