RIM outs cheaper BlackBerry Curve 9320

Relevance: 79%      Posted on: May 10, 2012

The BlackBerry Curve 9320 was probably made to address demand from emerging markets (they released the Curve 9220 in India some weeks back) which still cannot generally afford even the entry-level BB handset. If you looked at the specs of the Curve 9320 below, you will notice that it's not any better than the Curve 9360 that was launched many months back. BlackBerry Curve 9320 specs: 2.44" display @ 320x240 pixels 512MB ROM 512MB RAM up to 32GB via microSD card HSDPA 7.2Mbps, HSUPA 5.76Mbps WiFi 802.11 b/g/n Bluetooth 2.1 3.15MP rear camera with LED flash FM Radio tuner GPS

BlackBerry Curve 8520 in Red and White?

Relevance: 78%      Posted on: May 6, 2010

BlackBerry phones always come in one color, and that's black. BlackBerry Curve 8520 fans will surely love the news that the affordable handset will now come in 2 more colors -- ruby red and white. Moving from the usual black to red and white is practically a minor thing but for RIM, I think it's a realization that their phone users are shifting demographics. You should be able to get the BB Curve 8520 with the new colors starting May 8 at any Globe Business Centers for the same affordable price. You need to get it with the BlackBerry service…

Blackberry Curve 8520 in the flesh

Relevance: 78%      Posted on: September 21, 2009

Here are more high-detail photos of the new entry-level Blackberry Curve 8520. This is the 3rd phone we received last week so I'm pacing them a little slower than usual. Photos after the jump. The Blackberry Curve 8520 was launched last September 8 with RIM touting this handset as their most affordable so far (see complete specs here). The catch though is that final price will still depend on the telcos that will carry the unit and how much they will charge with the subscription plan. We'll soon know once they get this handset into the shelves. Full review of…

Research in Motion (RIM) officially announced the BlackBerry Curve 9380, the first Curve to shed the qwerty keyboard in favor or a full touchscreen. We've covered the global launch here in Jakarta, Indonesia earlier today. When we were doing the interview with Hastings Singh, VP for South Asia, I thought I was holding a new model of the BlackBerry Torch. I was surprised when I was told it's the new BlackBerry Curve Touch. It turns out it was the Curve 9380 which comes with a 3.2" capacitive display and a resolution of 480x360 pixels. It will also have a 5MP…

RIM and Globe Telecom held a party last night at the Prive Luxury Club in Bonifacio Global City to launch two of their latest socially-inclined smartphones, namely, the BlackBerry Curve 9320 and BlackBerry Curve 9220. Before I got lost at the buffet table, the event started with well-rehearsed lines from a pretty female host and sharply-dressed executives who spoke about how they loved social media and how useful the Blackberry Messaging service is to keep you connected with other BBM users like your family members and friends. Add your favorite yaya to the mix if you want. Needless to say…
