Announced back in June, devices under the Android One project could finally be released this September. The Android One project of Google is aimed to be a reference platform for future low-cost devices running Google's operating system. This project could mean better smartphones like the affordable Moto G and Moto E for developing nations. Google has just announced that they have a new initiative for developing markets called Android One - allowing manufacturers such as Micromax, Karbon & Spice to create stock Android phones that will get software updates. It will start in India first very soon, and possibly, it might catch up in the Philippines. With that said, we might no longer have to worry about software updates with affordable phones. Xiaomi lent us a review unit of the Mi 3 last night and we immediately unboxed it and played around with the device. It's also the first time we've looked into MIUI.
