Sony Ericsson Live View Smart Watch

Relevance: 100%      Posted on: April 29, 2012

This little accessory for the Sony-Ericsson smartphone (including the new Sony handsets) is called the Live View, a first generation smart watch that extends the display of your SE phone to the watch via Bluetooth. This model has been around for over a year but there's a new one that looks and works way better. In any case, the device looks pretty interesting especially if you have a Sony-Ericsson Android handset with you to pair it with. The Live View is actually pretty small and light, has a curved and squarish shape made of glossy plastic. The dimensions might be…

Relevance: 54%      Posted on: July 27, 2012

Announced on their FB page, Sony will be unveiling their second take on a fancy watch in the form of SmartWatch. Much like the first one, it does more than tell you want time it is. This accessory has been available in the international market earlier this month but it's just now that the company will be releasing it locally. Not much has changed from its predecessor Sony Live View, so we suggest you to read our short review/intro of Live View to give you the gist of how a SmartWatch works. It said to be available here by August…

To top if off, if your cellphone does not come with an FM radio tuner, you can use the built-in tuner of the…

What will happen to Sony-Ericsson Philippines?

Relevance: 49%      Posted on: February 22, 2012

Now that Sony has finalized the buyout of Sony-Ericsson, the new handset company will be named Sony Mobile Communications. So what happens to the folks over at Sony-Ericsson. I happen to talk to one executive from the company who gave me some possible scenarios. I am told that Sony-Ericsson Philippines will eventually be dissolved and Sony Philippines will take over the mobile phone brand. As for the folks from SE Philippines, they will all be invited to move and work for Sony Philippines under the mobile handset division. What we're not sure is if the GM and some of the…
