Toshiba outs Regza RZ1 3D TVs, Portege Z930 ultrabook

Last week, Toshiba Philippines launched their newest Regza RZ1 glasses-free 3D TV with 4K resolution (that’s 4 times 1080p) and what they claim to be the thinnest 13-inch ultrabook, the Portege Z930.

Poll: Which ultrabook are you?

This year is looking to be the year of the ultrabooks. The first half of 2012 saw close to a dozen ultrabooks being launched in the Philippines. The spread is so wide that we’re seeing prices somewhere from Php30k to Php120k.

Dell XPS 13 in the flesh, first impression

During the Intel-PLDT WiFi Zone event this morning, most of the PC manufaturers were there to represent the ultrabook category. A few new products were previewed including the HP Folio, Toshiba Portege Z830 and the Dell XPS 13 which we were able to get some time with.
