Sky Broadband seems to be tipping the scale for broadband speeds with offerings of up to 6Mbps and 12 Mbps packages for residential accounts. Smart has revised their Alway On plans to offer more bucket options and drive prices down. The new plan starts at Php10 for 5MB of mobile internet usable in 24 hours. Smart starts capping Data Plans from Unli to 18GB

With the introduction of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus on Smart's postpaid plans, the telco has also imposed data caps on mobile internet. This was recently revealed during their announcement of the new postpaid plans. What used to be Unli Data Plan 2000 and Unli Data Plan 3000 has been changed to reflect the data caps. Both postpaid plans are now just Data Plan 2000 with 10GB cap and Data Plan 3000 with 18GB cap, shedding the term unli altogether.
