Looks like Nokia wants to redeem itself and will be doing another sale this December 4. And this time, they’re promising up to 70% off on several handsets, including the C6 they put on sale a few weeks back.

Nokia is serious with its push to be make Ovi Maps and their GPS-enabled handsets to be the center-piece of our private cars. This is why they will start shipping selected units of their mobile phones with a free car charger and holder.
When Nokia announced back in January that it will make Ovi Maps with Turn-by-Turn Navigation free for its customers, I was a bit disappointed by the limited number of handsets that they supported.
Nokia has just announced it is now offering Ovi Maps with turn-by-turn navigation to all users globally. Best of all, it’s also available for the Philippines for free.
You can now download the Nokia Ovi Maps with turn-by-turn navigation for free. The Ovi Maps will be available in the following Nokia phone models:
Just announced — the Nokia 5230 looks like the old 5800 XpressMusic minus the WiFi feature and it’s not even under the XM series. Besides, the cheaper 5530 XM is already out.

When I first receive this Samsung Star (Samsung S5233S) last week, I thought the LG Cookie has found a new competitor in the affordable full touch screen phone segment. Check out the pictures I took after the jump.
For over a week now, I’ve been drooling over this Canon lens that I’m dying to get. I’ve checked out the stocks over at the digital camera store in Park Square 1 as well as the Canon store (Digital Zone) in Mall of Asia and they’re really pretty expensive — almost as expensive as the Canon 350D itself.
Still I can resist to get my hands on this one — Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM. I can’t really tell you how good this lens is but if I’d show you some of the sample pictures taken using this one, I’m sure you’d love to have one too if you’re carrying a dSLR.

I’ll venture out into the woods (read: Hidalgo Street in Quiapo) tomorrow to take a final look. I’m going for a week-long vacation to Boracay next week with friends from Korea so I’m praying to have this lens in tow.
