Sun Cellular now offers BlackBerry Service

Digitel and RIM today announced that Sun Cellular is now offering BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) with the BlackBerry Bold 9700 and BlackBerry Curve 8520 to customers in the Philippines. Sun Cellular now offers Unli-BB service to Prepaid subs

Sun Cellular has good news for their Blackberry wielding prepaid subscribers as they recently unveiled their affordable, Unlimited Blackberry Services offers. Starting Friday last week, prepaid subscribers can convert their regular load to UnliBB Service either for PhP50 for 1 day or for PhP250 for 1 week. Sun Cellular's per week option is by far the cheapest Unlimited Blackberry Service offer we’ve seen so far, beating Smart's per week offer (PhP300) by PhP50 and Globe's PhP220 for only 5 days. That didn't take too long. Learned about this a couple of days ago but held off until it was official and the prepaid prices have been finalized. This is Globe Telecom's response to Smart's Unlimited Prepaid Blackberry Plans. Subscribers can get unlimited BlackBerry service on their BlackBerry smartphones with new prepaid service plans for daily, weekly or monthly rates. In January 1 of this year, we predicted that Cebu Pacific will offer WiFi internet service in their flights. Well, it looks like our prediction came true with Cebu Pacific announcing a partnership with OnAir to offer in-flight WiFi service.
