This nifty little candy-bar phone (Jupiter B305) was given to me by the folks from StarMobile a couple of weeks ago and I promised to take it for a spin at least for a week before sharing what I think of it here. We don't normally write about feature phones here but this one makes for a unique case. The Jupiter B305 has a built-in Bluetooth headset that attaches itself via a magnetic base at the back of the phone. Because of the form factor and the thick, curved shaped of the back side, you might easily mistaken it for…

HiSense HB440H Bluetooth Headset

Relevance: 94%      Posted on: September 20, 2011

First time I heard of HiSense was when the guys at Awesome.PH sent me a free (HiSense HB200M) unit to review last year. Since then, I've encountered a number of other headsets from them including this Bluetooth model, the HiSense HB440H. The headset is simple and elegant, has a mostly plastic construction with a stainless steel backbone inside the headband. That same strip of stainless steel can extend a couple more inches to comfortably fit on the head (really depends on the size of your head but I reckon typical sizes have been considered for this one). The headset fits…

The guys from Digital Hub sent this little Bluetooth headset earlier this week (a HiSense Mini HB200M Headset) and I've been told that it's one of the most interesting models around. I've seen the HiSense brand in stores for sometime now but haven't had any interest since I already got a couple of headsets around. It's one of those gadget accessories where once you have or been using one, you tend to not look for anything better unless it gets broken or lost (I have a very old Jabra and a tiny Motorola headset).
