Spotted: Dell XPS 10, Snapdragon running Windows RT

Spotted at the Microsoft booth here at Computex is the Snapdragon S4 powered Dell XPS 10. This hybrid tablet comes with a 10-inch screen and a removable keyboard dock (popularized by the Asus Transformer).

Poll: Which ultrabook are you?

This year is looking to be the year of the ultrabooks. The first half of 2012 saw close to a dozen ultrabooks being launched in the Philippines. The spread is so wide that we’re seeing prices somewhere from Php30k to Php120k.

Dell XPS 13 launched, priced thru the roof!

Waiting is now finally over as Dell’s ultrabook brainchild has now officially unveiled in an event held at the Mind Museum BGC Taguig. The Dell XPS 13 is the American company’s first shot at the ultrabook fame and a very impressive attempt at that.

Dell XPS 13 in the flesh, first impression

During the Intel-PLDT WiFi Zone event this morning, most of the PC manufaturers were there to represent the ultrabook category. A few new products were previewed including the HP Folio, Toshiba Portege Z830 and the Dell XPS 13 which we were able to get some time with.

Dell XPS 13 is Dell’s new Ultrabook

Dell’s new ultrabook is this superthin Dell XPS 13 which uses an edge-to-edge Gorilla Glass display (frameless!). The Macbook Air look-alike is 6mm thin at its thinnest base and weighs only 2.99lbs.
