Spotted this afternoon at one of the gadget stores in Virramall, Greenhills is the new BlackBerry Torch 9800. I've been told it has been selling there for about a week now. Announced back in August 2010, Research in Motion formally launched the BlackBerry Torch 9800 in the Philippines yesterday. Aside from the BlackBerry Bold 9900 which was launched by RIM last night, they also introduced two more upcoming BlackBerry handsets to the media -- the BlackBerry Curve 9360 and the BlackBerry Torch 9860. The BlackBerry Curve 9360 is the thinnest Curve yet at 10.9mm (although the Bold 9900 beats it by 0.4mm). Aside from the re-freshed design, RIM also upgraded the internal hardware of the handset. When Research-in-Motion (makers of BlackBerry) tried making a touchscreen phone the first time with the BlackBerry Storm, it was plagued with lots of complaints from people.
