Sony Vaio X unboxed!

Relevance: 100%      Posted on: October 17, 2009

We've finally got a quick review unit of the new super-slim and super-light Sony Vaio X which was launched earlier this week. Check out some more close-up pictures below. As mentioned in my previous post, external ports like the USB and the VGA are the ones that limit the thin-ness of the Vaio X. So unless these ports are made smaller in future standards, I think this is the thinnest notebooks can go. I've put the Vaio X side by side a Nokia E71. While this one is with the smaller pocket-sized Vaio P. I'll be bringing this unit to…

The specs are pretty standard too -- Intel Atom N280 1.66GHz, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.0 and a nice 10.1 inch screen with 1366x768 resolution.
