Smart, Globe offers Facebook for All Java App

In order to increase their mobile internet subscriber-base, Smart and Globe both released a Java-based App so that even cheaper (mostly Symbian S40) phones can now access Facebook conveniently. Smart's FB Java app works on over 2,500 low-cost phone models {see list here}. To download, just text FB to 211. You will get a confirmation SMS with the link to the download page. IP e-Games launches Diablo 3 in the Philippines

IP e-Games today formally launched Diablo 3 in the Philippines to members of the media, bloggers and cosplayers in a short ceremony around noon. IP e-Games is the exclusive distributor of the boxed Diablo 3 installer in the Philippines (the digital downloads go straight to Blizzard). e-Games also shared that there was high demand for Diablo 3 and over 5,000 pre-orders were made as of May 13 for the boxed copies. Diablo 3 retails for Php3,150 and is now available in stores. Disclosure: IP e-Games gave boxed copies of Diablo 3 to everyone who attended the event.

Google is set to roll out the inevitable -- Google+ Games. The added feature on Google+ is still on limited access only so a few users have it activated in their accounts. Expect to see Angry Birds, Bejeweled and the likes to be there once it becomes available for Philippine users. You should see this once it's activated in your account: Will social games make people use Google+ more and give them reason to stay longer?
