Globe Telecoms formally announced that it has teamed up with WhatsApp to bring subscribers, both on prepaid and postpaid subscriptions, access to the popular instant messaging platform without eating up their data allocation. Globe subscribers can now get free access to Twitter starting today until the end of July. To get the free access, just type "free twitter" and send it to 8888. I just tried it now on my Globe postpaid account and it did not work. The SMS reply says it's only available to prepaid Globe and TM subscirbers. Anybody else tried this already?
