Asus Vivobook X202e takes ultrabook to the masses

When ultrabooks were first introduced more than a year ago, it was positioned to the high-end market. We’re now starting to see semblance of that same great ultrabook signature on entry-level laptops. The Asus X202e is a good example of that.

We rarely seen one of these in stores (ones for mobile phones are more common) so I got a bit interested when a distributor friend sent a sample unit to me. This universal adapter from Intex promises to charge up to 13 laptop brands in one go.

Lately, I’ve been observing that a lot of brand new laptops being sold in stores don’t have a proper operating pre-installed. Most of the time, you’d see FreeDOS on the specs sheet along with the uber-cheap price tag.
