PLDT upgrades myDSL Plan 3000 to 5Mbps

Good news to all PLDT myDSL subscribers on Plan 3000 — bandwidth upgrades have been rolling to all subs as early as first week of this month. The plan was bumped up from 3Mbps to 5Mbps.

So there you go — another ISP offering capped plans on a faster pipe. I’m sure a lot of you have seen those big billboard ads while plying the roads of Metro Manila. BayanTel has a special package of 3Mbps BayanDSL for only Php899 a month.

BayanTel sets broadband cap at 100GB?

At the Bayan Telecommunications official forum, the indicated monthly internet cap for subscribers is said to be at 100GB per month though this has not been completely confirmed since the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) has not specified it.
