RIM launches BlackBerry Bold 9790 in Indonesia

RIM keeps on stressing that this is a first for them — to have a global product launch in Asia. And they picked Indonesia for the obvious reason that this is a BlackBerry country (with around 38% market share). Sony-Ericsson Xperia Arc S Review

The Sony-Ericsson Xperia Arc S did not deviate much from the original Arc except for the bump in processor speed (and the additional colored variant) so it’s not really a huge improvement, in my opinion. We’re set to fly to Jakarta early Monday morning to cover a global launch of a BlackBerry device on Tuesday. I originally thought the product would be the Porsche Design P9981 but I was told by the local PR that the unit will only be marketed by Porsche Design themselves and not RIM.
