Two weeks ago, Samsung jumped the gun and dropped the suggested retail price of the 3G variant of the Galaxy Tab down to Php21,990. The sale happens in all Samsung retailers from April 1 to 17 only. Just asked for the WiFi-only variant if you want to get it at a much cheaper price (that's around Php3k cheaper than the 1st gen iPad).

With the Galaxy Note line stealing the limelight from Samsung's own tablet line, we were quite unsure of what happened with the Galaxy Tabs. Looks like Samsung still has plans for it as they have officially unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. The Galaxy Tab 3 will be launching in a 7-inch form factor just like the very first Galaxy Tab. Samsung only announced one iteration of the Galaxy Tab 3 (no 10.1, 7.7 or 8.9 versions), but since we have no assurances that they won't launch more, we won't close on the possibility that there might be various iterations

Samsung is introducing yet another model in the 10.1-inch category of its Galaxy Tab line-up, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. Samsung also announced a Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 last February 13 so this Tab 2 10.1 is just part of that new batch. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) specs: 10.1″ PLS TFT display @ 1280×800 WXGA screen 1GHz…
