Relevance: 86%      Posted on: August 19, 2010

Dell Philippines showcased their new line of business laptops earlier today. Of the lot, the Dell Vostro V13 took much of my attention. This laptop surely reminded me of the "almost-unreachable" Dell Adamo. This time though, Dell brought down the starting price of the Vostro V13 to a more affordable range at the 35k level. This ultralight laptop measures 13.3" across but is just 16.5 to 19.7mm (0.65-inch) thin. You can choose from three different processors - Celeron 743 1.2GHz (ULV), Intel Core 2 Solo SU3500 @ 1.4GHz (ULV) and an Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 @ 1.3GHz (ULV). Graphics…

Although it was confirmed last August that Dell has discontinued the Inspiron Mini 12, it looks like several units of the 12-incher has already arrived and being sold at Accent Micro. Dell realized that if customers want a full 12-inch notebook, they'd also want some more power to go with it so netbook specs won't really cut it. Dell outs Inspiron w/ Designs from Threadless

Relevance: 84%      Posted on: June 14, 2011

This is probably the first laptop launch I attended where the stars are just the lids and not the laptops themselves. Dell Philippines launched a new series of Inspiron, Vostro and XPS laptops that come with the latest Intel Sandy Bridge processors yesterday. What greeted us when we arrived at the venue were dozens of these really nice-looking laptop lids. There were a total of 25 different designs taken from a collection in Threadless and OPI. The lids are sold separately (between Php1,500 to Php2,500 each) from the Dell Inspiron 14R and 15R that came with the basic black lid…
