So this was the surprise promo that Globe reps told me the day they talked to us about the MyFi and they really did good with their promise. A reader tipped us that Globe has dropped their MyFi devices by almost 50% off! For Globe MyFi PostPaid accounts, it's down from Php250/month to: Php149/month on Plan 499 Php99/month on Plan 999 For Prepaid accounts, it is now down to Php4,000 one-time from Php7,000 previously. A Globe Telecom representative sent an email confirming that their MyFi Router is already being sold in selected Globe Business Centers. This is probably in response to our earlier report about the Huawei E5830. The Globe MyFi Router is an add-on to existing Globe Tattoo Broadband plans. So, instead of just getting the Globe Tattoo USB dongle, customers will have the option to take the MyFi Router instead. Globe Telecom lent us their new toy -- the mobile 3G router they call Globe MyFi. I'd like to share 10 things about the MyFi so you're better informed about it before deciding to go and get one. Looks like Globe has upgraded the speed of their Tattoo Superstick 4G to 21Mbps. Saw this ad last Monday on the newspaper for a new add-on or upgradable plan with the Tattoo 4G. The promo goes like this: When you get a regular Globe Tattoo Postpaid Plan 999, you pay a monthly service fee of Php999 a month. The promised speed here is up to 7.2Mbps. Globe Tattoo Superstick now up to 7Mbps

Don't exactly know when they rolled this out but just saw that Globe Telecom has upgraded their Tattoo Superstick and now offers up to 7Mbps on the WiFi device. They're still offering the Globe MyFi but that's just up to 3.6Mbps or 5Mbps depending on your postpaid plan. By the looks of it, the Globe Tattoo Superstick uses the ZTE MF60 we reviewed here a few weeks back. Globe intros 4G Tattoo up to 10Mbps

As a result of the recent HSPA+ roll-out of Globe Telecom, they're now promoting their Globe Tattoo 4G super stick, with design inspiration from Tonino Lamborghini. The promised speed -- up to 10Mbps on your mobile broadband stick -- and they called it the 4G Tattoo Tonino Lamborghini. We got this poster from @talk2globe today. The full 10Mbps plan costs Php2,199 per month but you can still get the Lambo stick at lower plans of 3Mbps and 5Mbps. There's also the option of getting the Globe MyFi device with an additional Php100/month on top of the MSF.
