BBM for Android now for download on the Play Store

Looks like BBM app for Android is now back in the Google Play Store and ready for download. The app was set to roll out last month but got delayed due to leaked copies. But now, it seems it's back on the store once again. We just tried it a while ago and was able to successfully download and install BBM app. Just look for BBM in the Play Store and make sure the name of the developer is BlackBerry Limited. We're still waiting for the same app to appear in the iTunes App Store.

Remember that huge story about fake Apple Stores across mainland China last August? There were over 20 of them found to be just a local reseller labeling their stores as "Apple Store". They have all allegedly been renamed since then but I accidentally spotted one tonight. Apple has just fired up the Mac App Store. With over 1,000 apps for the Mac, the App Store makes it easier for anyone with a Mac running Mac OS X Snow Leopard to just download and install apps. Nokia promised that Vine and Instagram will be out on the Windows Phone Store this November and we're seeing the first one already available for free in their app store today. Twitter's Vine is available starting today. It's available to all Nokia Lumia and other WP devices with resolution as low as 480x800 pixels.
