Globe has sent out a release today that they will start offering the new iPad 3 + 4G starting May 29. This coincides with the official release of the new iPad in the Apple Online Store and local resellers.

The new iPad 3 vs. Asus Transformer Prime

We’ve been able to acquire the new iPad and I thought it might be apt to compare it with one of the leading Android tablets around, the Transformer Prime. And to be fair to the iPad 3, we’re detaching the keyboard dock on the Prime for this exercise.

iPad HD: I got a feeling it’ll disappoint a lot of people

By March 7, Apple will announce its new iPad tablet. CNET and VentureBeat both report it will be called iPad HD instead of the iPad 3. Everyone is still speculating on the hardware specification but the likely upgrades include a full HD resolution and a faster chip.

Just saw this video last week of an iPad 3 concept where you can actually pair two iPad3′s to extend the real estate screen of the tablet. Pretty cool features we can only dream is possible on the iPad.

iPad 3 announcement on March 7

Apple has sent out invites for a March 7 announcement and by the looks of it, the most likely product is the next-generation iPad (we still don’t know yet if it’s going to be called iPad HD, iPad 3, iPad 2HD or 2S).
