Globe Telecom has finally confirmed that all iPhone 5 postpaid subscribers will get access to their LTE network at no additional charge. This means that if you are currently on a MySuperSurf data plan, you can get LTE for free.
Apple released the iOS 6.1 update the iPhone 5 earlier today and both Smart and Globe subscribers have had their iPhone 5 handset activated for LTE. Smart then announced they are giving subs free, unlimited access to their LTE network until April 30.

It’s not a surprise that Apple wasn’t happy that Manny Pangilinan, Chairman of PLDT-Smart, spilled the beans on the upcoming launch of the iPhone 4S in the Philippines. The recent story that Smart will also release the iPhone 4S by December was certainly prematurely announced.

Last June, we did a small contest for people to guess the official price of the Apple iPhone 4 32GB on Globe Telecom. Last Saturday, Globe announced the iPhone 4 price and release date. So here are our winners.
So we finally got the official retail price of the iPhone 4 from Globe today and while the price point is within the expected range, it turns out it is more expensive by at least 12%. Here’s what we got from a little digging.
