I could not believe this when I first saw it but Liquipel promises to make your device practically waterproof by treating it with a nano coating.

Just when we thought the iPad could not get any better, Apple released yet another one. Though naming it the iPad 2 does not carry that Apple flair (easy to guess the next generation will be called iPad 3), it easily banked on the brand’s super-popularity. Check out our full review of the Apple iPad 2 after the jump.

The 6th generation iPod Nano must be the oddest looking iPod in recent history of Apple. It does not look anything similar to its predecessor nor any other iPods before it. Check out our full review of the iPod Nano 6G after the jump.

We got a short time with Apple’s new line of iPods yesterday afternoon. Of the lot, my interests were focused on the 4th generation iPod Touch and the totally re-invented iPod Nano which is already in its 6th generation.

This Woof speakers is yet another one of those accessories dedicated to the growing market of iPod owners in the Philippines. Unlike the usual form factors we’ve seen with the Hamburger speakers and the X-Mini, this one is a bit different. Check out the photos and my quick review after the jump.

For a couple of weeks, there’s been a growing number of blog coverage about a rumored iPhone Nano which Apple is supposed to be working on. All we’ve seen though are knock-offs from China and eager iPhone Nano accessory makers.

When the new 4G iPod Nano was revealed, it didn’t made a positive impression on me. It wasn’t anything new at all. Still, I had to give it the benefit of the doubt and take it on a road test (I even got the “4GB collector’s edition” *heh*).

Having busted 3 of my 5 iPod headsets, I hesitated using the one that came with my iPhone 3G. It’s like the regular ones since it got the mic control on the cord and I reckon they’d be pretty expensive to replace if ever I lost them or something.

So Apple finally released their new line of iPod videos, Nanos and Touch. If you look closely at the offerings and compare it to the old one, it says a lot about where the iPod market is going.

Reports say that the iPod Nano is the most popular of all the Apple media player line. That’s maybe because when it first came out, it was the cheapest iPod at that time. Now that there are more than half a dozen models, I’d like to see which iPod people buy.

What does Steve Jobs give in return for the hundreds of thousands of Apple fanboys who lined up and bought the iPhone eleven weeks ago? A $200 price cut to those who didn’t fall in line. Now, that’s a PR disaster Apple didn’t expect from yesterday’s announcement.

So, all the speculations are right. The entire line-up of iPods have been replaced — thinner form factor, bigger storage, longer battery life, and wifi.

At the CES MacWorld just moments ago, Steve Jobs announced the highly speculated Apple iPhone. Looks like a sleekly iPod Nano with nothing but screen space:

The feature that Jobs is claiming to solve the usability problem — no keypad. Just pure digital real estate. It’s currently only tied with Cingular though.

Some basic specs:
OSX operating system
3.5 inch wide screen
2 megapixel camera
bluetooth
WiFi
GSM Radio + EDGE
8GB capacity
proximity sensor (so your face won’t accidentally press the buttons)
switch from portrait to landscape screen layout
built-in speaker
run Safari browser
This thing is a little expensive — $499 for the 4GB and $599 for the 8GB. Expect the prices here in the Philippines will be more than that (somewhere around Php30k & Php40k respectively) if it will even reach the country when it ships this June.
One thing they forgot to mention was how long the battery life would be — standby time and call time.
