Apple has just introduced its newest member of the iPod line – a 16GB iPod Touch model with a 4-inch Retina display but no rear camera.
Apple has recently released the latest iteration of iOS and has started rolling out the update to supported devices. (iPod Touch 4th Gen and later, iPhone 3GS and later, iPad 2nd Gen and later). The headline of the story, however, is the inclusion of Philippines in the list of countries with LTE support.

We got a short time with Apple’s new line of iPods yesterday afternoon. Of the lot, my interests were focused on the 4th generation iPod Touch and the totally re-invented iPod Nano which is already in its 6th generation.
Just moments ago, Apple unveiled the 4th generation iPod Touch which features a retina display and 2 cameras (one for FaceTime and one for HD video recording).
This is the 4th time that Apple upgraded their most popular media player, the iPod Nano 5G. I previously thought there’s nothing more you can add to this small media player but looks like Apple still has a couple more tricks up their sleeves.
Not sure if I’ve seen this before but Ozaki is shipping a ton of these iPills to the Philippines this August.

When the new 4G iPod Nano was revealed, it didn’t made a positive impression on me. It wasn’t anything new at all. Still, I had to give it the benefit of the doubt and take it on a road test (I even got the “4GB collector’s edition” *heh*).
Though local availability of the new line of iPod Nano, iPod Touch and the 120GB Classic is still sparse, their prices have been made available on most Apple reseller stores. Just got the adjusted pricing of the new models.
