Photography: Ateneo vs. La Salle

Relevance: 100%      Posted on: November 6, 2007

Go to watch the V League games between Ateneo and La Salle yesterday evening. It's like the PBL for womens' volleyball. Was able to capture some nice shots I'd like to share. Photos taken using my Canon Rebel XT (350D) with Sigma APO 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG Macro. I rarely use this lens. Last time I pulled it out of the bag was during my trip to the Singapore Zoo. Sadly enough, Ateneo lost the game to La Salle, 0-3. Maybe next time.

Relevance: 25%      Posted on: April 14, 2007

During the iBlog 3 sessions in the afternoon, while were having a quick snack in the lobby when a young kid approached me and introduced himself as a UP student. He explained that he sent me several email questions before for a thesis paper he's doing about internet marketing and online advertising. The clincher was that he got a 1.0 for it! Wow, I felt that I'm sharing that 1.0 mark with him. And to think that I used to be just a C student back in Ateneo, getting that 1.0 in UP Diliman was joyous first for me. That…

What makes the Pro in ProBlogger?

Relevance: 24%      Posted on: June 18, 2006

More emails are coming in from people asking about opportunities of making money from their blog or on doing part-time problogging gigs (courtesy of Ms. Susan Ople's write-up in Panorama and David Llorito on Business Mirror). What I do is come up with a draft email with pertinent links to several entries on my blog along with Powerpoint presentations I did last April. I then use this draft to reply to them emails. One question that got me a little un-easy was about the prefix "pro" in problogging. The question was "Can I just be a regular blogger and earn…
