HTC’s entry-level Android handset comes with a signature design that traces all the way back from the HTC Hero and the HTC Legend. Check out our full review of the Android ICS-packing HTC One V after the break.

HTC was the first one to bring a quad-core processor handset in the Philippines with the One X, giving it the spotlight for some time and getting the credit as one of the most desirable (if not the most) flagship smartphone in the local market. Check out how HTC’s great design reputation and NVidia’s Tegra 3 chip stack up to make the HTC One X the handset to beat this season.

So the only obvious thing for us to do now that the Samsung Galaxy S3 has been finally announced is to compare it with the only other quad-core smartphone int he market, the HTC One X.

This little white box greeted me when I arrived home this afternoon. I knew HTC Philippines was sending us something but I didn’t not expect it will arrive looking unconspicuously as this. Check out our unboxing photos of HTC One X after the break.

Much has been said about the new iPad — stating with the “new” name, the same old design, the slightly beefed profile and the underwhelming specs. Only one thing remains and that’s the hyped up, beyond-HD display. Check out our full review of the new iPad after the break.

With both tablets from Asus and Samsung being released to the public days apart and with a difference in the suggested retail price at only Php5, it’s hard not to compare the two. So, if you have a spare Php33,000 lying around, would you go for the Asus Transformer Prime or the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7?

The HTC Desire is officially out and the new HTC Rhyme has just replaced it. It’s nothing really new in terms of the specs but the whole packaging and the new color tones bring new life to a rather old line. Check out our full review of the HTC Rhyme after the jump.

The Sony-Ericsson Xperia Arc S did not deviate much from the original Arc except for the bump in processor speed (and the additional colored variant) so it’s not really a huge improvement, in my opinion. Nevertheless, those extra clock cycles will certainly be of help once your handset needs it. Check out our full review after the jump.

I dropped my new iPhone4 straight on the pavement a couple of weeks ago and it suffered a hairline crack at the top corner of the LCD display. It wasn’t noticeable at first but soon became more prominent after I added a screen protector (yeah, too late).

With so many platforms and so many devices to choose from (Android, iOS, Symbian or Windows Phone 7), some things remain the same. Some names are familiar (like Qualcomm or NVidia Tegra) while others are seldom mentioned, like Corning.

Aside from the iPhone that’s getting a lot of raves at the CES MacWorld today, the AppleTV isn’t gonna miss a beat as well.

For only $299, you get a 40GB device that connects to your TV via an HDMI port or component video and audio ports. Its built-in, 802.11b/g & 802.11n wireless capability syncs your iTunes library to any Mac or PC in the house. Comes with USB 2.0, Ethernet and powered by an Intel CPU.
Not sure if 40GB is big enough (why didn’t they put in at least 120?) but I know I can hook up my laptop to my TV and play everything off of it. Besides, I already have that Samsung 19″ LCD to watch movies with.
On the other hand, I’m pretty sure tons of people are dying to get that iPhone. If traffic to this blog from Google searches for “buy Apple iPhone” is any indication, that’s a lot.
