Huawei Honor U8860 in the flesh, landing next week

Over lunch this afternoon, I was able to get hold of an upcoming Android smartphone from Huawei. I also learned that the Huawei Honor U8860 will finally be released in the Philippines sometime next week with an expected retail price of under Php15k.

LG Netbooks We’ll Never Get to See

When we visited the Pyung-Taek Factory the other day, we saw a number of laptops and netbooks made by LG and being sold in Korea. Been wondering why LG didn’t brought these units to sell in the Philippines and now I think I know why.

LG XNote S210 hovers at 1kg

LG’s new XNote S210 seems to be right in the fence between a regular laptop and a netbook. It comes with 12.1″ screen yet only weighs like a netbook at 1kg so we’ll put it under the ultraportable category.
