This came as a surprise but the Symbian Anna touting Nokia E6 has arrived in the Philippines with a suggested retail price of only Php17,820.
So we also got the chance to check out the Nokia E6 yesterday, the successor of the Nokia E72 but now comes with the more improved Symbian Anna. The least I can say is that it’s an impressive combo.
The new Nokia E6 succeeds the popular line of full qwerty smartphones which started with the Nokia E71 and the Nokia E72. Nokia retained the design with a few hardware improvements and added their new and improved Symbian^3 Anna OS.
Tonight, I bought a Nokia phone. It’s the 5th handset I bought this year. The decision wasn’t biggie since the price point is way below my usual budget. Besides, the unit wasn’t something I’d normally look into. In fact, it was a surprise buy.

For some time now, dual SIM phones have been hot among the masses. Majority of the handsets that have these are China phones or locally branded ones like MyPhone, Cherry Mobile or Torque.

The Nokia E72, shown in the video below, is an upgrade of the more popular Nokia E71 qwerty phone that had some minor polishing.

Just got this Nokia E63 delivered yesterday for review, about a week ahead of the alleged Philippine release of the unit. Will try and get the review out a soon as possible but for the meantime, check out some of the photos I took.
I’d say this is an unprecedented move to bring the Nokia E63 business phone to regular consumers. According to a source close to Nokia Philippines, the local price of the phone will be Php11,000.
