The Nokia N9 is the most interesting phone that came out of the Finnish company in years. Not only because it comes with totally different OS but also because it represents what Nokia could have become if it had done this strategy way earlier. We got this test unit, a Nokia C7, a couple weeks back and it’s got us thinking where Nokia is positioning this device (probably in the mid to high-end range) considering the Nokia N8 and Nokia E7 are clearly on top of the heap.
Having owned over half a dozen Android smartphones in the past year, I thought I’ve seem them all. The Samsung Galaxy S II (S2 i9100) brings it up a notch — a powerful and sexy Android superphone that comes with all the bells and whistles.

Nokia’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the Nokia E7, is a bigger, sleeker version of the popular Nokia N8 slapped with a sliding full qwerty keyboard.
I’ve always wondered how gadgets (or electronic appliances) are priced when they land in the Philippines. Been asking around and doing some research and here’s what I got from various sources.
The Nokia N8 has started shipping in other countries and though there’s no specific date for local release, Nokia Philippines has put up an email alert for those interested to get the news as soon as it’s out.
Nokia also just announced the Nokia E7, a full touch screen and full qwerty slider phone that’s got a huge 4-inch display and 8-megapixel camera.
Just moments ago, at the Nokia World 2010, a new Symbian^3-based smartphone was announced — the Nokia C7 and based on the specs, it’s looking to be a baby N8.

According to several retail stores I asked in the malls, the Nokia C3 will arrive next week and will have a price of around Php7,290 (cheapest I surveyed but there’s a sale on Saturday).
