Since Research in Motion (RIM) is taking a long time to release the BlackBerry Bold 9900 in the Philippines, grey-market sellers are making a killing with these handsets by directly importing them from the US.
Nokia’s latest dual-SIM phone, the Nokia C2-03 Touch & Type, officially lands in the Philippines for a suggested retail price of just under Php4,500.
While Nokia only promised one Meego device this year, they did not stop with the N9 but also pulled a surprise when they silently revealed the Nokia N950, the qwerty-version of the N9.
Just within a couple of days that Nokia officially announced the Meego-powered Nokia N9, this leaked video of Elop showing what could be the Nokia W8 (code named Sea Ray) appears on YouTube.
So now it’s clear why Nokia went for WP7 instead of Android — because they’re still banking on the Meego OS and the Nokia N9 is a testament that they can still kick ass.

Barely a month after the official launch of the Nokia N8, a rumored next-generation Nokia N9 Slide has been captured on video.
Leaked photos (read: image render) of, what is supposedly, the upcoming Nokia N98 suggests it could be a cross between the recently launched Nokia N8 and the previous slider-qwerty phone, N97.
That’s the best price of the Nokia Booklet 3G we’ve heard so far. That doesn’t include customs and VAT so I’m guessing that will be the lowest figure when it officially gets here in the Philippines.
I didn’t expect Nokia to join the netbook bandwagon since they’ve been touting the N97 as a handheld personal computer. But it doesn’t hurt to have one more competitor in this segment so we’ll surely see the Nokia Booklet 3G soon enough.
After using the Samsung i8910 Omnia HD for over a month now, I’m still having some mixed feeling about the phone. At one hand, the specs and features are awesome but one the other hand, the S60 platform kind of ruined the experience a bit. Let me share with you my thoughts in this review.
