Cyber Clean: Cleaning Compound for Gadgets

Relevance: 97%      Posted on: August 3, 2009

Got intrigued by this jar of gooey compund which claims to be able to help clean devices and gadgets on the fly. So I bought one and tried it at home. The compound, call Cyber Clean, feels like synthetic clay or Play Dough, just a little soft and slimier. It doesn't break up easily too so when you mash it against the gadget you're cleaning, it doesn't leave any trace of the substance. What it does is it sticks/attaches to your device and removes small dirts and dusts along with it. The advantage is that it can get into the…

Pinoy Big Blogger “Experiment”

Relevance: 87%      Posted on: November 20, 2005

Yeah, everybody's calling it an "experiment". Why experiment you say? Because it's all about "wanting to see, learn, and profit" from search engine traffic for popular keywords. And Pinoy Big Brother is the word these days, and so is Ang Panday. Manolo came back with a vengence to all Pinoy Big Brother bloggers out there, wanting to help political blogs like his regain the top spots in the Philippine blogosphere. Mikey surely did gave him that impression. Benefitting from search engine traffic is not about how good you write about a certain topic, how passionate you are with the issues…

Traffic Trends over Pinoy Big Brother

Relevance: 86%      Posted on: October 26, 2005

Traffic trends over the past couple of days have been very favorable to blogs that have dedicated a sizable amount of their content to the latest television reality TV show of ABS CBN, the Pinoy Big Brother. Those that came into the scene earlier on and have been providing original content are the ones that get the most number of exposures. Marc posted a great topic about the search trends and relevance over at Pinoy.Tech.Blog. I am not a real fan of PBB, except of course for my personal preference with Say as indicated by 23,000+ pageview post about her…

Today is the 1st year anniversary of the Pinoy Top Blogs Project. The very first post about it is here. Here are some of the entries that discussed about the project at that time: Pinoy Top Blogs Explained What Constitutes a Blog? World Cyber Games 2008

Relevance: 78%      Posted on: May 7, 2008

WCG 2008 is on. The Cyber Game Festival will be held in Cologne, Germany this year and the Philippine contingent better make it to the finals this time. Spent the whole afternoon at City Kart Racing to attend the press launch of the 2008 World Cyber Games, and of course some kart racing. For avid gamers, the WCG is like the Olympics of gaming and for the last 7 years, the Philippines is one of the many countries vying for the championship (the farthest we've gone is in the quarterfinals of 2005). Preliminaries will be held starting May 17 while…

Say Alonzo on Pinoy Big Brother

Relevance: 75%      Posted on: August 22, 2005

Last night while visiting a friend, I was surprised to hear the name "Say" as one of the housemates on Pinoy Big Brother. It immediately caught my attention and my eyes were glued to the TV for the next 8 to 10 minutes. I wasn't really interested in Pinoy Big Brothers (PBB) even with much of the hype and buzz going around. (I seldom watch TV, much more local channels.) But Say (or Sheryll Ann Alonzo Yutadco?) is there and that got me interested to the show. She's one of the (former) gals in the office. One of the prettier…

Totally iTunes for Pinoy?

Relevance: 74%      Posted on: March 1, 2007

Now, this is what I'd call purely Pinoy creativity. *heh* NoypiTunes is your iTunes for the Filipino mobile phone users. lets you personalize your mobile phone for All-Pinoy tones, images, logos and other content. Here you'll find a wide collection of top-rated homegrown music from artists like Bamboo, True Faith, and from Pinoy master rapper Francis M, downloadable as ringtones to US mobile phones. You can avail of download packages and enjoy four polyphonic ringtones for the price of one. The problem here is that the branding is just too close to Apple's iTunes that I am seeing C&D…
