Anti-Cybercrime Bill gets Senate approval

The Senate finally approved their own version of the Anti-Cybercrime Bill (Senate Bill 2796) earlier today. The bill provides for penalties of Php200,000 to Php1.25 million and imprisonment of up to 12 years.

Nokia N9 now shipping, price starts at Php28.5k

Nokia has just posted a press release stating that the Meego-powered Nokia N9 has started shipping to stores and customers who pre-ordered it. While the shipments does not yet include the Philippines, we’re hoping it will be a matter of weeks (if not a month) before we’d see the N9 hitting local stores.
