Last Tuesday, PLDT also launched their PLDT Call All bundle -- a wireless landline extension where subscribers can call anywhere in the Philippines. This promo is available to existing PLDT residential landline subscribers for an additional fixed monthly charge of Php250. The bundle adds a PLDT Landline Plus (PLP) SIM card which can be used with any openline handset and serves as an extension of the fixed landline. What makes the PLDT Call All promo more expansive is that the mobile phone with the PLP SIM-card can be taken anywhere in the Philippines and still be able to call any…

I believe calls from Smart mobile phone sto PLDT landline phones will still use the same old rates though. Like the previous promo, it does not also cover PLDT landline NDD…

Relevance: 67%      Posted on: December 14, 2010

Last night, PLDT announced its new landline service called PLDT TelPad, a landline and broadband DSL service packed in an Android Tablet. The PLDT TelPad is and Android 2.2. Froyo tablet powered by a 1Ghz Cortex A8. That means users can download apps and play on the 7-inch tablet. It comes with a 2GB internal storage but there's an SD card slot and a USB port to extend that. The TelPad also carries a 2-megapixel front camera for still shots and videoconference calls. I think calls can be made via a Bluetooth headset. It also comes with a dock for…

Smart to PLDT Landline Piso-per-minute

Relevance: 65%      Posted on: January 18, 2006

Just saw an advertisement on TV (that Boy Abunda and Kris Aquino tandem again) about the new Smart call pricing at Php10 per 10 minutes. That's basically php1 per minute of call time. I think it used to be Php8 plus toll charges. This went out as PLDT came out with a regular rate of Php10 per call for all NDD (National Direct Dialing) connections, the same time that Smart is rabidly pushing for their 3iG services. On top of that, the recent PLDT promo of Php840 fixed MSF for a bundled PLDT line and unlimited PLDT Vibe connection is…

Froilan M. Castelo, Head of Globe Corporate and Legal Services Group. The move is in compliance with the compulsory interconnection of authorized public telecommunications carriers under Republic Act 7925 which aims…

Relevance: 51%      Posted on: October 29, 2005

Got a special mail today from PLDT. It's one of those pamphlets they're sending out too all DSL subscribers - International Dialing for DSL Subsribers (or ID-DSL). This new service by PLDT allows you to call any landline or cellular phone abroad at low rates of 8 cents per minute. If you are a PLDT myDSL subscriber, all you need is the VoicePad dialer software installed in your PC. Likewise, you may call abroad using your regular landline as long as you register by calling 10-10-10. The rates for that is $0.10 per minute if you are under Plan 2500…

Smart to PLDT Value Calls only Php4 per minute

Relevance: 48%      Posted on: September 19, 2005

I was on my mobile phone with another potential client for about 15 minutes then I checked my load balance to see how much credit I still have left. I was a bit surprised to see that my last call didn't even reach Php100. Just now, I got an SMS alert from Smart that they have this Value Calls Promo where your call from a Smart cellphone to a PLDT landline will only be Php9 for the first 9 minutes and then it's Php4 per succeeding minutes. Looks like a bargain to me. And good nes to those who're always…
