Globe outs Samsung Galaxy Y PowerSurf Edition

If Smart has the Galaxy Y Netphone Edition, Globe is also introducing the Samsung Galaxy Y PowerSurf Edition which comes free with Plan 499. Just saw this ad from one of the dailies today -- it features both the CloudFone Temptation and the Samsung Galaxy Y with Globe PowerSurf 299 which offers 300MB of data plan for 30 days. Both the Galaxy Y and the CloudFone Temptation are free on Plan 499. Globe earlier introduced the CloudFone Ice to compete with the Netphone. No mention as to the prepaid kit price of the Galaxy Y or the Temptation.

Globe launches Samsung Galaxy S2

In a media launch this evening, Globe Telecom formally introduced their latest product under the Globe Tattoo line-up -- the Tattoo Tonino Lamborghini and the much-awaited Samsung Galaxy S2.
