Samsung N100s with N2100 single-core Atom CPU

The first time I’ve seen the Samsung N100 series netbook was with their Meego line-up back in September last year and it was priced very affordably at under Php12k. Intel also has a new single-core Atom Cedar Trail processor that’s being used for really low-cost netbooks and Samsung has one out in stores.

Netbooks: Higher than 1024×600 resolution?

One of my more nagging problems with a lot of locally available netbooks is the low resolution screen. While 1024 x 600 pixels is fine for regular web browsing, there are important softwares out there that require higher resolution and just wouldn’t work with most netbooks.

Samsung’s ultra-thin LED Full HD TV

Yesterday, Samsung Electronics unveiled its new ultra-thin 40″ to 55″ 1080p LED Full HD TV — the Samsung B6000 and B7000 Series. The new series now uses Light Emitting Diode (LED) instead of the usual Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps (CCFL).
