Relevance: 81%      Posted on: September 7, 2014

However, bear in mind that the Samsung Gear VR will be using the Galaxy Note 4 as the HUD so that entails another $799 (~Php35,000) to build the whole set. We're expecting the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to arrive in the Philippines sometime late October but we're not sure if the Gear VR will tag along with it. {via}

Mobile virtual reality, powered by our Galaxy Note 4. That's how Samsung is positioning this rather interesting Oculus Rift head gear. The actual name is actually the "Samsung Gear VR Innovator's Edition powered by Oculus". This rather odd model of the Oculus Rift uses the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 fitted into the posterior as the high-definition display.
