A week before the official launch of the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+, we were given a special exclusive preview of the two devices (we had to sign an NDA before we can see it). The first feedback I gave to the Samsung executives was that Note fans would be disappointed with the non-removable battery and the absence of the microSD card. They replied that the 90-minute fast charging would address the issue on the non-removable battery. As for the lack of microSD card support, they pointed me to the dual-USB drive. Incidentally, we have been using…

In an interview with local representatives of Samsung Philippines, they shared with us that a dual-SIM version of the Galaxy Note 5 will be released in the Philippines. This follows the same move they made with the Galaxy S6 when they also released the dual-SIM version. This information has not yet been officially revealed to the public but Samsung PH is already working with distributors in shipping the Duos version within the week. The international version will still be single-SIM, but the ones that will be officially released in the Philippines will be the Note 5 Duos (as per the…

Samsung introduced new 12.2-inch Galaxy Note Pro tablet here at CES 2014 in Las Vegas. It's the biggest Android tablet for Samsung and we had a few minutes with it at their booth this morning. Aside from the display size, the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 did not change in design compared to the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition (see our review here). What Samsung did change was the TouchWiz UI. The new Window UX features a magazine-style interface. In fact, the dual-view feature of the older Galaxy Note tablets is now updated to accommodate 4 simultaneous windows in the…

Getting a credit card without applying for one?

Relevance: 63%      Posted on: November 2, 2006

I've been on and off the phone with one of my credit card reps and they've been calling me for overdue payments since 3 weeks ago. So, ok, sometimes when I'm too harassed I forget which card I paid online so it has happened on several occasion that I double pay (there was one time I paid Citibank 20k for a Php600 bill) some cards and not pay another card. But this one is a little strange to me -- I got a replacement card for an old Metrobank Value credit card. Then a week later, I also got another…

We did, so we thought of listing down all the possible reasons we can think of as to why more and more brands are jumping in to…
