Nah, I don't believe it. Google is against paid reviews, right? Shoemoney got an emailing that Google is doing a beta test for paid reviews via AdSense. Smart Communications thought their Smart Wifi brand is knee deep in the mud right now that the best thing to remedy the bad publicity is to re-name it. Smart Communications recently announced that it is doubling the maximum download speeds of its Smart Bro Starter and Power Plug-Its. The new maximum download speeds of the Starter and Power Plug-Its is now at 7.2Mbps and 12Mbps, respectively, under 3G and HSPA+ connections. Received this poster last night confirming that Smart has come up with its own micro-SIM and is available with a postpaid plan. Details are not clear yet but from what I gather, it will be included in a data plan with Smart Bro Plan 999. Obviously, that involves the Apple iPad 3G. I am also told this will also work with an open-line iPhone 4 (which is now selling in Hong Kong and Singapore).
