According to a source that talked to a Smart CS, the carrier is about to introduce a new Smart Unli BB Plan 549 that will directly compete with Globe's BlackBerry Max 599. Smart introduces LTE Plan 1299

Smart has introduced a new and lower LTE plan for subscribers on top of the existing LTE Plan 3500 and LTE Plan 1799. Smart's LTE Plan 1299 drops the monthly subscription fee to just Php1,299 with a 24-month lock-in period. The plan comes with a free LTE dongle or you can upgrade to an LTE WiFi modem for a one-time fee of Php2,000. Of course, the data cap is also lowered to just 5GB per month.

After Smart put out their pre-order page on May 22, they've just added additional information on the postpaid plan that the Samsung Galaxy S3 is available. Surprisingly, Smart has decided to give the Samsung Galaxy S3 on UnliData 2000. Smart did not indicate any other plan in which the handset is available. With this plan, subscribers will have to pay Php2,000 a month in exchange for unlimited mobile internet, 200 free SMS and 150 free calls.
