Smart is now taking pre-orders for the BlackBerry Z10 and will be offering it free under Data Plan 2000. BlackBerry launched the Z10 in the Philippines last March 6 and will be available in stores on March 19. Smart is setting first in the Blackberry service in the Philippines by offering prepaid plans on a daily or weekly basis. This is pretty good news for those who have open-line BB phones bought without a post-paid plan before. The daily unlimited rates are Php50 for 24 hours and Php300 for one week. Smart drops BlackBerry Plan to Php599/month

Good news for Smart subscribers who are still using BlackBerry. In a recent post on their Facebook fan page, Smart has announced it significantly chopped its BlackBerry UnliData Monthly charges from Php1,200 down to Php599. In addition, the BBM Only plan is also reduced by more than 33% making it only ₱99 instead of ₱150. Research in Motion is making its biggest push today. Aside from launching two new BlackBerry 10 handsets, it has also re-branded itself and will now be called BlackBerry.
