Jellybean 4.1.2 update for Galaxy Note now official

We can’t believe that its more than two months since the initial Android Jellybean build for the Samsung Galaxy Notehas surfaced, yet users of the 5.3-inch handset are still stuck on Ice Cream Sandwich. But that’s about to change (and hopefully soon) as Sammy started seeding the update to their already seasoned device.

Globe Telecom earlier reported that they will soon launch new LTE smartphones once their new network is up and running. The line-up includes handsets from ZTE, Samsung, Huawei and HTC.

Globe to sell Galaxy S3 Prepaid Kit at Php29,990

[Updated: It's back to Php32,990.] We initially reported that telcos will not likely sell the Samsung Galaxy S3 on a prepaid kit plan. Turns out Globe Telecom has already announced that once all the pre-orders have been fulfilled, they will also offer it for prepaid subscribers.

Smart Galaxy S3 Pre-order starts on May 23

We got the word from Smart’s External Relations Manager for Public Affairs (Wo Rosete) that the telco will start accepting pre-orders of the Samsung Galaxy S3 on May 23, 2012. This is smack right in the middle of our original May 22-24 launch date we got from Samsung Philippines.
