Sony-Ericsson Xperia Arc S Review

The Sony-Ericsson Xperia Arc S did not deviate much from the original Arc except for the bump in processor speed (and the additional colored variant) so it’s not really a huge improvement, in my opinion. Nevertheless, those extra clock cycles will certainly be of help once your handset needs it. Check out our full review after the jump.

Link Building Strategy (Globe Innove Blogger Meetup)

I postponed publishing this post because I was so damn careless to drive a little tipsy. I grazed my car against the parking lot gate post on the way home — a very tiny almost-invisible dent with some yellow paint transfer, something a good buffing could easily remove (I hope!).

Moving forward, really nice to gather around and share good stuff over bottomless drinks and booze. First, let me be very clear that this event was sponsored by Globe Innove (pronounced as ‘e-no-ve’) at the Temple Bar, GB3 Ours was the 3rd leg, composed of a cluster they called the influencers.

Picture above was borrowed from Anton. I didn’t brought my camera so I won’t be distracted and not miss any of the conversations.

With such similar meet-ups I’ve had in the past, I don’t tag along much expectations. The fact that I am being heard and that my opinion matters to these people (corporate or otherwise) is enough. What they send me home with is just icing on the cake.

Going back to the meet-up, it was clear to me that the agenda was simple — gather a group of like-minded people from different ‘clusters’ and demographics, show them your stuff, ask them what more they need (and willing to pay for) and address the issues or come up with a better business model. Hopefully, at the end of the day, they’d be able to take a good measure of the pulse of their target market (heavy users). With us bloggers, they get the golden ticket of getting feedback from those who receive tons of relevant feedback thu our blogs.

My only disappointment though was that we didn’t have much time to mingle amongst ourselves. Still, I am sure these people power-bloggers — Kiven, Rico, Noemi, Gail, JAngelo, Marc, Markku, Connie, Jayvee, Bimbo and Anton — will still be present in upcoming sessions to meet and greet other bloggers just like what we’ve been doing in the past couple of months.

That brings us to my title for this post — the link building strategy. The link love you’d get is priceless — much more than any schwag or gift bag you’d hope to take home with you.

So see you in many more meet-ups to come!

P.S.
Globe Innove has asked me to hook them up with bloggers from Visayas (Iloilo, Bacolod, Cebu) and Mindanao (Davao, CDO, Zamboanga) as they are also organizing similar events there. Leave a comment if you’re interested to join. =)
