Went around on a quick tour of Abu Dhabi yesterday to check out the rest of the city after the Nokia World event. One of the first stops we made was the Emirates Palace Hotel where the world's first gold vending machine was installed. Suffice to say, we were thoroughly impressed. The vendo machine was right in the lobby of the huge hotel, among the rows of other jewelry and gold shops. There were about a dozen different gold bars (and a single silver medallion) being sold, ranging from 2.5 grams to 10 grams. They're rated at 99.99% pure at…

This un-identified Filipino-owned ice-maker machine turns ice-water into ice is a matter of seconds. Watch this amateur video on how they make ice water into ice by merely dipping it into a bath of cold water. We're not particularly sure sure what the set-up is and the chilling machine they use here but the video clearly shows how a seemingly regular ice water turns into solid ice after dipping into the vat and merely flicking the plastic. Make sure that you layout them so that the month, day and year are all distinct from each other and not overlapping. See my example here : Using the ruler guide in Photoshop, slice the template into three parts. You will need to determine the date format you use in your blog. Mine uses day of week, day…
