Samsung Galaxy S4 system dump available for download

Relevance: 100%      Posted on: March 29, 2013

The Samsung Galaxy S4 is still far from the hands of many, but you can always pretend like you have it anyway - through these files that are made available for download - from wallpapers to ringtones, it's got you covered. While not everything in the download is beneficial to all smartphone users, it's mostly for the developers who would port the apps to other devices - such as S-Voice or other features. I know a lot of people who would put a signature wallpaper on their device just to emulate the feel, so why not give it a try?…

More ways to make money online

Relevance: 84%      Posted on: February 23, 2007

Over at Web Worker Daily, Anne Zelenka writes about 10 New Ways to Make Money Online. Some of the items she mentioned have already been around for sometime while others have become too saturated as well. I'm now thinking of ways to make money online that's more relevant to our region (or specifically in the Philippines): Buy & Sell items in TipidPC. I look at TipidPC as somewhat like the eBay for the Philippines, even before eBay.ph came into the scene. Work as a Proxy Player. Some games require you to play a certain amount of time before you reach…

iOS 7 might feature a more flat redesign

If you may have not known yet, Jony Ive - the person behind Apple industrial design - is now also making arrangements with the company's software design. According to developers, he is trying to push a more "flat design" for the next iOS that aims to be simpler and starker. Apple's iOS has pretty much been the same since 2007; it's a row of icons of apps, and throughout the years, there was an addition of wallpapers, a notification bar, a task-switcher, a voice assistant and a number of features. While those have been truly useful upgrades, there hasn't been…

Years after Google's Open Handset Alliance brought Android into cellphones, the company forms the Open Automotive Alliance - and that as you might guess is aimed at bringing Google's operating system to automobiles. The alliance consists of Google & NVidia together with Audi, Honda, Hyundai & GM. The objective of the alliance is to push forward innovation in cars and to create an open ecosystem for safer and more intuitive automobile technology. Fruits of the said project will already be realized as early as this year - 2014, so that's definitely something to look forward to. Probably coming soon in a…

Just a quick survey on what make and model of phones people are using nowadays. I've added a poll below (sidebar) so you can send in your feedback. I also noticed a lot of people are using 2 phones so you can send in two answers as well. In the last year or so, I've been using a Samsung i600 and Nokia 6120 Classic. The latter, a private line and the former holds my public number. Our poll/survey question this time -- what's the make and model of your mobile phone/s? Likewise, with the introduction of 3G networks, telcos are…

Relevance: 56%      Posted on: September 27, 2012

Looks like Google Maps is not satisfied in covering just every piece of land on Earth and has decided to go under the sea as well with Maps Ocean, allowing users to explore living coral reefs around the world without getting their feet wet. Maps Ocean is an addition to Google Maps which shows underwater panoramic images of six of the ocean's most incredible living coral reefs, including the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, the Molokini crater in Maui, Hawaii and the marine reserve in Apo Island in Dauin, Philippines. The images are clear and beautiful that some are worthy…
