Asus Zenbook UX31 Review

The first time I personally saw the Asus Zenbook, I knew it would be my next laptop (the last two I bought were all Macbook Airs). And while ultrabooks are still in their infancy stage, they’ve already sparked interest and awe to the point of being an aspirational device. I’ve been using the Zenbook UX31 for a couple of weeks now and have actually made it my primary laptop without much hesitation. Check out our full review of the Asus Zenbook UX31 after the jump.

While there are a lot of HD media players out there, I think there’s still room for more. So when I got a review unit of the BriteView-CinemaTube HD Media Player, I thought WD TV has some pretty nifty competition up ahead.

Edimax nLite WiFi USB Adapter

I got about 3 or 4 WiFi USB dongles at home to hook up desktop PCs and media players to the wireless network. This one sent in by PCTrends is way smaller — it’s the Wireless nLITE Mini-size USB Adapter — probably the smallest out there right now.

The perils of upgrading to Windows 64bit

Had trial copies of Windows Vista 64bit and Windows XP 64bit for some time now. Since both my laptop and my PC are on 4GB of RAM, the 32bit versions of XP and Vista can only use around 3GB. Was wondering if it’s worth to try the 64bit versions to maximize the available memory on board.
